For this first opus of ten pieces, the two acolytes introduce in their own way the traditional music of Quebec and the countries that have forged it such as France, Ireland and Scotland. In captivating arrangements rich in contrasts, Jean-Sébastien Gasnier and François Matte present original compositions as well as little-known gems.

In addition to the flutes, guitar, bodhran and others played by Écorce, the instrumentation of Cordé Serré benefits from the talents of a few well-known guests in the field: Rachel Aucoin (piano), Gabrielle Bouthillier (voice) and Louis-Simon Lemieux (violin).
